Meet the New Ultimate Spider-Man

With the apparent death of Peter Parker in last week’s Ultimate Avengers vs New Ultimates # 3 by Mark Millar and Leinil Yu, Marvel Comics has unveiled a new image featuring a new Ultimate Spider-Man.

I am totally speechless right now. Partly because, I grew fond of the Ultimate iteration of Spider-Man / Peter Parker and as of the last few issues, I loved how the Parker household has become a hotbed of superhuman activity thanks to Peter’s Aunt May shouldering the responsibilities of not only Peter but also Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch as well as former X-Man Bobby Drake.

The book was also starting to showoff new villains and returns classic Spidey villains like the recently escaped Sinister Six including the demonic Green Goblin.

And now it seems like Marvel, Bendis and Bagley and the rest of the team is hell-bent in taking out young Peter Parker out of the equation for good, just like how they removed Ultimate Wolverine from any ongoing title or limited series.

And if you must know, the recent change of Spider-Man has also brought in second printings of the “Death of Spider-Man” issues including Bendis and Bagley’s run on Ultimate Spider-Man as well as the aforementioned Millar and Yu take on Ultimate Avengers vs New Ultimates.
