PATINTERO COMICS Gets the Trade Paperback Treatment this October

“Nowadays, children grow up in a digital life, not having to treasure such fond memories like playin’ on the street and the traditional way of gaining friends. Well, siguro dahil na rin sa lumalalang condition ng lugar naten kaya safe na rin to stay inside. With the launch of this comic also comes the aim to reach out those youngsters and those young at heart to get to know the game. To educate na rin kung baga. Hehe.. maiba naman tayo di ba? Marami na tayong nakikitang genres. Sports naman, healthy living pa.”

Yessiree! Our local komiks creator – Kai Castillo has compiled the six issues of his creator-owned komiks, Patintero Comics into a trade paperback form. Patintero Comics Books 1, a 130-pager TPB, has a cover collaborated with another local comic book creator, Mel Casipit (Mukat, Baboy). Stocked in 20 copies and priced at PhP 250, this is another good lokal read and a should-get.

Patintero Comics Books 1 will be released this October at Komikon 2012.
