PREVIEWS Magazine Gets Price Cut

PREVIEWS has always been the catalog that we read in comic shops, it  provides readers a reference for most of the upcoming releases of various toys, comics, graphic novels, and merchandise that us geeks love. Now, the people from Diamond Comic Distributors has decided to make a price cut, in order to make it more available to comic shop customers. This magazine is very useful for getting info, especially if you don’t have any other references. But, we still have to wait since the price cut will start in 2015.

Another cool announcement is that, their November catalog is now available online at their Previews World site.

Starting with its January 2015 issue, Diamond Comic Distributors’ monthly, 500-plus page PREVIEWS catalog will carry a new, lower SRP of $3.99 the average price of a standard monthly comic book. “Now you can read the storylines of hundreds of upcoming comics and graphic novels, and learn about the new toys and merchandise coming to comic book shops—all for one low price of $3.99!” said PREVIEWS Editor, Marty Grosser. “PREVIEWS has always been ‘the comic shop’s catalog’ and now it’s cheaper than ever to learn what’s at comic shops!”

Now in its twenty-seventh year, PREVIEWS is Diamond’s monthly catalog for comic book specialty shops. Each issue lists items that are generally scheduled to arrive in comic shops approximately two months in the future with preview text, cover art, photos and illustrations of the upcoming products. In addition to upcoming listings for comic books and graphic novels from major publishers such as Dark Horse Comics, DC Entertainment, IDW Publishing, Image Comics, and Marvel Comics, PREVIEWS also features products from small press and independent publishers such as BOOM! Studios, Dynamite Entertainment, Oni Press, and Valiant Entertainment, as well as a wealth of books, magazines, trading cards, apparel, toys, games, and many more products.

Comic shop customers can use PREVIEWS to place their monthly comic book and graphic novel orders with their local comic book shop, as well as place special orders for additional merchandise items they want to purchase.
