The History of Filipino Artists with DEADPOOL
LAN MEDINA, LEINIL FRANCIS YU, GERRY ALANGUILAN, ERIC CANETE, STEPHEN SEGOVIA & CARLO PAGULAYAN
If many of you insist I should include Lan Medina (Cable and Deadpool #25-#27), Leinil Francis Yu with Gerry Alanguilan (Uncanny X-Force #20-#23 and Civil War: Warzone #4-#5), Eric Canete (Amazing Spider-Man #611), Stephen Segovia (Deadpool #13) and Carlo Pagulayan (Battle Scars #1) because they also drew Deadpool in the interiors of their respective assignments. Medina’s very short run focused entirely with Cable. Deadpool’s name was mentioned, but rarely seen. Yes, Leinil did do some Mercs around, if you can spot them in the background in that Secret Wars tie-ins. In Uncanny X-Force, he drew the cover art only, no more or less.
