Marvel Mega Bloks Blind Packs Wave 3 spotted in malls

The third wave of Marvel Mega Bloks single-packed figures has been spotted at Toys ‘R Us in Trinoma and Robinsons Galleria.

The newest wave of these highly-articulated, playset-compatible figures includes Iceman, Havok, Sandman, Magneto, Cyclops, Big Time (or, as the package says, “Stealth”) Spider-Man, and Silver Surfer. Each figure comes with character-specific accessories and a correspondingly-colored 2×4 block.

Last year saw the release of the first two waves of Marvel Mega Bloks, and as the license is now owned by Lego, Mega Bloks is pumping out as much product as it can before the Marvel-Lego exclusivity agreement comes into effect. Oddly enough, while Lego owns the rights to The Avengers (showing on April 25, 2012) and other Marvel comics properties and trademarks like Wolverine, Deadpool, Magneto and Spider-Man, Mega Bloks is coming out with merchandise for The Amazing Spider-Man (showing on July 3, 2012).
