It’s More Than That tackles more on one’s emotional frustrations of being homosexual which is uncommon to local comics.
The mental psychology depicted is greatly represented by the art. Though the pacing of the story is long that it tends to lose some emotional impact in some parts. Even nearly 70 pages long, the comic lacks story that could have touched on other issue such as sexual relations.
Nevertheless, It’s More Than That delivers a better perspective of homosexuality that aren’t tackled as much. It’s worth a read not just for the homosexual plot line, but also for the emotional development towards someone.
