REVIEW: Countdown to Extinction is in ‘Justice League #32′
Flash against Red Death, Aquaman against Drowned, Wonder Woman against Merciless, and Green Lantern against Dawnbreaker. Who wins?
Teleported to the respective cities their knightmare counterparts have invaded, the members of the Justice League find themselves fighting their separate battles. Flash against Red Death, Aquaman against Drowned, Wonder Woman against Merciless, and Green Lantern against Dawnbreaker. Who wins?
Bats out of Hell is a great tie-in story arc. Its been filling the plot holes that Snyder left in the main Metal title. JUSTICE LEAGUE #33 comes out strong with the narrative of Cyborg’s importance with the League. The story is slow paced but it provides with enough developments to push the story forward. The twist at the end is nothing new, but still surprisingly good.
Liam Sharp did a great job with the interior artwork. I’ve been hearing his name ever since Rebirth and it is only now that I’ve seen his artwork. Its captivatingly amazing. The details on every page and on every character is marvelous. Where does he get all the time to draw that much details?
Overall, I love Justice League #33. It is something that I’m really considering on getting. Story is great and the art is magnificent. Lastly, I’m not sure if its coincidence or not, but the remaining members of the Justice League are the very first members of the Justice Society of America—Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and Aquaman (Brave and the Bold #28, 1960).
