This is the 5th year that PNU – NAMI is celebrating a japanese- themed convention full of dance, acts, games, contests and booths. The “Tanabata” festival in Japan is based on a legend from mainland China, and also combines some elements of Japanese myth when it was adapted. This is about the two lovers (Orihime and Hikoboshi) who were separated by the vast, star-filled river of Amanogawa.

One popular Tanabata custom is to write one’s wishes on a piece of paper (“tanzaku”) and hang that on a specially erected bamboo tree, hoping that the wishes will come true.

This is a once-in-a-year celebration that you should never miss? It’s not your regular Cosplay Convention. We’ll give you a taste of a real MATSURI?This is a Cultural – Cosplay Convention in one and we promise to give you the best?
