Celebrate Halloween With A Super Size Pumpkaboo In POKEMON X/Y!
Once again, Halloween is right around the corner, and in celebration of this spooky holiday Nintendo is treating Pokemon X/Y players to a Halloween-themed Super Size Pumpkaboo this October!
This special Ghost- and Grass-type Pokémon will come with moves to match the season, including Trick-or-Treat and Scary Face, along with a damage-causing Rocky Helmet in hand. Pumpkaboo Pokémon come in four sizes that each offer certain statistical advantages in battle, with the Super Size Pumpkaboo possessing an increased healthpool.
Players who avail of this seasonal treat will also get an easy entry ticket into the upcoming Trick-or-Treat Friendly Online Competition, which requires the player to have a Super Size Gourgeist in his or her Battle Box. can obtain this prerequisite by trading their Super Size Pumpkaboo with a friend in order for the Pokémon to evolve into a Gourgeist.
To claim the free Pumpkaboo, a player must simply access the Mystery Gift menu and receive a gift “via internet” until the end of the month.
