GAMES AND POLITICS, An Interactive Exhibit By Goethe-Institut

Goethe Institut Philippines (German Cultural Center) in partnership with the Ateneo Art Gallery will conduct an interactive exhibit entitled Games And Politics this coming September 12 to 14, 2017 in the new Areté building at the Ateneo De Manila University. The 3 day exhibition would feature 18 significant politically ambitious video games, and encourages viewers to examine how they each unfold their unique political potential.

Games and Politics would also feature live game walkthroughs and panel discussions during the event. The panel would feature Senator Benigno “Bam” Aquino and “celebrity shrink” Dr. Randy Dellosa among others. The speakers will talk about how video games impact politics and society. Culture specialist, Mr. Christian Huberts, whom the Goethe-Institut is flying in from Berlin especially for the occasion,  is a panel moderator along with media personality Nikki Veron Cruz. Mr. Hubert will also hold a public lecture on the political potentials of video games.
