Ico and Shadow of the Colossus HD in PS3 confirmed
FOOOSANG GALAAA!!! Finally we can lay all those rumors to rest and let gamers rejoice! Team Ico is remaking ICO and SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS, both PS2 epics, in HD format for the Playstation 3. This month’s issue of Famitsu confirmed that these 2 classics will be coming to the PS3, and that it woulld be sold separately.
The image above, taken from this website, is able to pre-order and seems to confirm that a bundled version will be available in Europe. Though it contradicts to the report in Famitsu, it is safe to say that both games are really getting the HD treatment they deserve. Regarding the release date and a final confirmation on the bundle, we suspect it would be revealed during the Tokyo Game Show in upcoming days.
First, it was the GOD OF WAR collection, then we get TEAM ICO collection, what’s next? If you ask me, I want a METAL GEAR SOLID collection. But if SOTC and ICO comes next year, hopefully, considering their replay value, gameplay as art form, I’m pretty sure I’ll be happy having a PS3.
