LOVE KNOWS NO CONSOLE: Microsoft Opens Its Doors To Playstation And Everyone

PS4-Xbox-One

With a move that no one saw coming, Microsoft will now allow cross-platform/network gaming along with other networks like the Playstation. No, this is not an early April Fools (We’re just in the middle of March), it is true, this is happening!

With reports circulating online, Chris Charla at Xbox Wire mentioned that:

“First, in addition to natively supporting cross-platform play between Xbox One and Windows 10 games that use Xbox Live, we’re enabling developers to support cross-network play as well, This means players on Xbox One and Windows 10 using Xbox Live will be able to play with players on different online multiplayer networks – including other console and PC networks.“

Though Microsoft may not have directly mentioned Sony or the Playstation, Microsoft is opening their doors to the entire gaming world. They’re inviting developers to join and support this feature. We may not see it happening in the immediate future but eventually this is going to be a reality. If all goes well, this might be the end of console wars as we know it.
