Universal Pictures Picks Up Rights to “Cowboy Ninja Viking”

Universal Pictures has announced that it has picked up the rights to produce a live-action adaptation of “Cowboy Ninja Viking” which was a book from Image Comics written by AJ Lieberman and Riley Rossmo.

The book tells the story of the child of a psychotherapist who recruits patients with multiple personality disorder to create a unit of counter-intelligence agents called the Triplets. When those agents become out-of-control assassins, the deadliest Triplet of them all, Cowboy Ninja Viking, is called in to take them down.

Universal’s so down with the project that they already have a director to helm this project in the form of Mark Forster who also directed the film “Quantum of Solace“. (Uh-oh)
