Fassbender’s ASSASSIN’S CREED Gets A Release Date!
The long delayed Assassin’s Creed live-action project finally gets a new(and hopefully, final) release date – December 21, 2016.
Produced by Ubisoft and Fox, the movie is set to star Michael Fassbender(X-Men: Days of Future Past, Prometheus) into the lead role, with Australian director Justin Kurzel on board to helm the film.
Apart from the details mentioned, nothing much has been revealed by both production outfits. Furthermore, it’s not yet specified if the film will be depicting an entirely new tale or a retelling of the games’ story. The only thing certain is that Assassin’s Creed’s pre-production is now underway, with Fassbender attached to the project since 2012.
As of the moment, Ubisoft is attuning their focus on the impending release of the next game in the franchise, Assassin’s Creed: Victory.
