Killer Frost
Created by Gerry Conway and Al Milgrom, Killer Frost was originally conceived as Firestorm’s nemesis. However, as time went on, her role expanded to other books, evolving into one of Justice League’s worst adversaries.
Three individuals have taken the name thus far: budding scientist Crystal Frost, her colleague and best friend Dr. Louise Lincoln (who replaced her after Crystal’s demise), and S.T.A.R. Labs employee Dr. Caitlin Snow. As the name implied, all three of them gained the ability to transform heat energy into ice, as well as to manipulate the said element to different means.
As of writing, the Caitlin Snow incarnation of the character made her way to the 2014 series The Flash as one of its central protagonists, so it might take a while before we see her version of Killer Frost to the big screen.
