WONDER WOMAN Goes To War As SDCC Trailer Goes Online
We may have received a glimpse of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman film during The CW’s Justice League special months ago, but that paled in comparison to the San Diego Comic Con trailer released by Warner Bros a couple of hours ago at Hall H.
DC also posted the official synopsis of the film minutes after it hit online:
“Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.”
Helmed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman also stars Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, and Lucy Davis.
Wonder Woman is slated for release, June 2, 2017. Check out the full trailer above.
