CW’s Arrow Returns with New Villain in Tow
The CW’s “Arrow” starring Stephen Amell has been kicking ass the past few months and is a worthy successor to that other CW series Smallville. It’s currently on a mid-season break but when it gets back, we’ll see Oliver Queen return to the hood once more and fight off a new villain.
The new villain comes in the form of Firefly, a former firefighter who becomes a bitter, resentful man. This is picked up from the DC Comics character of the same name. AFAIK the last time the villain made a TV appearance was in “The Batman” where the character later turned to the Phosphorus.
