CW Cast Stephen Amell as Green Arrow
CW’s Green Arrow TV project is moving forward with the announcement of casting “Hung” cast member Stephen Amell as the Emerald archer.
The new series will revolve around the early years of Green Arrow (Olliver Queen) who returns to the modern world after being stranded in an island for a few years.
The series pilot will be written by Marc Guggenheim (Wolverine) and Greg Berlanti (Green Lantern). Both of them will also act as the show’s executive producers together with Vampire Diaries’ Andrew Kreisberg.
Wait hold up, Vampire Diaries???
Anyway, the actor has made several appearances in different shows including Vampire Diaries (blergh), Hung (starring one-time Punisher Thomas Jane) and Private Practice.
