SITDOWN REVIEW: Stranger Things 2

Things have definitely gone stranger in Hawkins since the peculiar, yet danger-filled adventures of Mike, Will, Lucas, Dustin and Eleven in the first season of Stranger Things. It may have gone peaceful for our beloved kids in the most part, but with creatures looming around the neighborhood, it won’t take long before they find themselves in yet another strange adventure.

Fortunately, your FlipGeeks Team was able to catch Stranger Things 2 ahead of everyone. We sat down and laid our thoughts regarding this new season.

Strangers Things 2 is better and stranger than ever! After the first season’s success, Stranger Things 2 returns as it tries to bridge the gap between all the cliffhangers and questions we all had during the end of season 1. As much as we missed all the familiar faces, we’re also intrigued by the newcomers in the show and how they’ll impact season 2.

As promising (or maybe even better) than the first season, Stranger things 2 will not disappoint fans. Our favorite Hawkins kids are back! Definitely worth the year long wait! Catch Stranger Things 2 on Netflix.

It’s welcoming to see these “strange” bunch of kids for the second time, as we see them cope with the events of last year’s season. Definitely, their adventures have changed each of them, but I am glad to see that they never lost the guts and zest they’ve had in Season 1. There are a lot of things to like in this new season. The shots have definitely improved, and the composition and grading has seemingly emulated how film shooters take their shots back in the day. The transition from one scene to another is smooth, and I love just how comic book-esque it was.

Without spoiling that much, things have definitely gone stranger, and better. Make the best out of your holiday break and binge Stranger Things 2.
