ARNOLD ARRE guests on UP GRAIL’s Kwentong Pilipino

Kwentong Pilipino Poster

UP Graphic Arts in Literature (GRAIL) is celebrating its anniversary this year, and they’re dedicating it all to the the Philippine comic scene.

Part of the festivities is a workshop that’s essentially a crash course in writing for comics, focusing on how to craft a story that’s a landmine of Filipino culture. Who better to shed light on this than veteran storyteller Arnold Arre?

Arnold Arre is one of the most creative people in the storytelling industry, dabbling in almost every aspect you can think of – writing, illustrating, making short films. He’s blessed us with his award-winning comics such as The Mythology Class, Trip to Tagaytay, and Ang Mundo ni Andong Agimat. He also recently released his new title, Halina Filipina. He’s all that and other things. Know the extent of his awesomeness on his website.

Kwentong Pilipino: Writing With Arnold Arre will be held on May 5, 4:30 PM, at the UP College of Mass Communication Auditorium.
