COMIC BOOK REVIEW: Catwoman # 1

Catwoman # 1 by Judd Winick and Guillem March was one of the books that was on my radar. I could say that I wasn’t too keen on actually getting the book but I was pretty psyched about the release of the issue.  We have to thank artist Guillem March for that though because I’ve been following whatever book this artists does (for those that are keeping track, the guy has worked on “Gotham City Sirens” and “Batman and Robin”).

The book has garnered a lot of controversy ever since it graced the LCS not because of the violence but because of a famous scene that happened by the end of the book. (For spoilers click HERE) But while people were talking about the ending, they all failed to realize or talk about the status of the book. Was it any good or was it worse than the last book.

My overall impression for this book is a measly pass. I’m on the way to actually becoming really engrossed in this book but it still has a long way to go.

Verdict: Pass
