SDCC 2016: Marvel’s Richard Rider Returns in New NOVA Title
Marvel Comics has confirmed that Richard Rider, the original Nova, is going to return in a new Nova ongoing series along with his successor, Sam Alexander, during the private Retailer Presentation at San Diego Comic-Con 2016.
Rider’s return was first teased in a Marvel NOW! catalog showing Rider’s classic helmet with the words “coming soon.” In his absence, Sam Alexander took on the mantle of Nova and is currently a member of the All-New All-Different Avengers team.
No creative team has been announced nor a launch date, but Nova is expected to debut later this year as part of the Marvel NOW! initiative.
