World of DC: All Star: Fun Run
Runners get a head start during the World of DC: All Star Fun Run
Last April 18, 2015, an estimated 11,000 runners joined the World of DC: All Star: Fun Run. Participants got to emulate their favorite DC Superhero by wearing beautifully designed singlets and running through 3K. 5K and 10K runs at SM Mall of Asia by the bay.
Friends, families, children and even pets donned on characters from the world of DC comics.
Runners could choose from official licensed singlets inspired from the costumes of DC superheroes, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Green Lantern. Aside from the beautifully made singlet, the ensembles also included an additional costume piece; masks for Batman, The Flash and Green Lantern, a cape for Superman and a headband for Wonder Woman.
All race finishers received Justice League Finisher Medals.
Members of the Justice League PH were also present at the event. The Flash even joined the 3K run and ran in full ensemble. 
It was my first time to ever join a fun run and I’m glad that it was this one; I got to fly my geek banner high and proud and I got some exercise at the same time. Hopefully there will be a similar event next year, looking forward to having more characters to choose from.
