This week marks the release to the highly anticipated sequel of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Star Wars: The Last Jedi. What better way to celebrate the movie’s release with a toy review from one of the movie’s main characters, Kylo Ren. Most likely, if you’re a Star Wars fan, you already know who Kylo Ren is but for the benefit of those who don’t, Kylo Ren is the leader of the First Order (previously known as the Galactic Empire) and a student of the Supreme Leader Snoke.
He is originally known as Ben Solo and the son of Han Solo and Leia Organa. He was trained in the ways of the Jedi by his uncle, Luke Skywalker until he was seduced to the dark side. Aside from these facts, not much has been revealed about Kylo Ren and what role would he play in the new Star Wars trilogy. Is he the last Jedi? Who knows? I guess we all just have to wait until the movie comes out but for now, here’s a review of Bandai SHFiguarts version of Kylo Ren.
PACKAGING 9/10
Right off the bat, SHFiguarts impressed us with their packaging. It’s simple yet it gives that classic Star Wars look to the packaging. The color scheme is a mixture of the black mixed with the classic Star Wars gold and red lining of the Last Jedi. The clear plastic also gives you an idea of what you’re getting inside the box. As always, SHFiguart’s packaging are so good that you can display it as is, even without taking the figure outside the box.
