Bottom Line

Season 6 of the award-winning series Game of Thrones has long been finished, but for the fans of the hit television show, the said season has been one of the most exciting seasons. One noteworthy episode was Episode 9, also known as the Battle of the Bastards. Of course, for the fans who have already watched the whole series (and are currently waiting for Season 8), they know why it is noteworthy, and why it is called the Battle of the Bastards. For those who have yet to watch the episode, Funko gives us a sneak peek on one of the best battles in Game of Thrones. Of course, for those who have already watched the said episode, the Funko Pop! 2-pack Battle of the Bastards is a great addition to anyone’s collection or Game of Thrones display.

Sculpt - 9/10

As a collector for years now, I can say Funko is improving big time when it comes to their sculpting. Compared to the 2012 Funko Pops! like Captain America, Iron Man, Batman, Superman, among others, we see Funko Pops! now with more intricate sculpts — more accessories, finer details on suits and costumes, and of course, action poses! Here, we see Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton in their action poses, really as if they are battling.

One issue that Funko Pop! collectors sometimes encounter is the issue of the figure’s ability to stand. We sometimes encounter Pops! with heavy heads that bodies cannot support, un-straightened shoe soles, and other issues. Lucky for these two, there are no issues. They are light, their accessories are light as well, and the bodies and feet can support the whole sculpt.

They are a must-buy for collectors who like setting their collection up like dioramas, or for the toy photographers. Technically, Funko Pops! have no articulation, so having Funko Pops! in action poses are a good alternative. In the Game of Thrones Funko line, these two are some of the first action pose Pops!
