GEEK FACTS: Bohol Hall in Pixar’s Monsters University

GEEK FACTS is a column in Flipgeeks that showcases geek factoids especially concerning Filipinos in geek culture.

In the upcoming prequel to 2001’s “Monsters, Inc”, Monsters University has quite a geek fact for us pinoys. Did you know that Monsters University’s library is called Bohol Hall, named after Filipino-American Pixar artist Nelson Bohol.

Nelson Bohol is a veteran animator for Pixar, and has worked for films like “The Incredibles”, “Finding Nemo” and “WALL-E”!.

Opening across the Philippines on June 26 in Disney Digital 3D, 2D and regular theaters, “Monsters University” is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International through Columbia Pictures.
