The King of Fighters – Kyo Kusanagi comes to Metal Slug: Awakening!
Kyo Kusanagi – the main character of SNK’s The King of Fighters series – has officially joined the Metal Slug: Awakening crew!
A collaboration of epic proportions where two childhood arcade legends will bring back the best memories and blow your mind!
Kyo Kusanagi is the main hero of SNK’s The King of Fighters series. He is the descendant of the Kusanagi clan and inheritor of the Kusanagi martial arts. Kyo has a resolute personality, appearing cold on the outside but harboring warmth within. Only those who truly know him understand his fondness for poetry.
In Metal Slug: Awakening, Kyo is a special operations hero capable of optimizing team damage. Kyo’s Rage can significantly boost damage when, after using Rage, the entire team gains the Burning effect. His attacks can also inflict burns on opponents, and damage increases based on Close Combat, enhancing Kyo’s overall damage output.
Kyo’s skills in-game:
- 75 Shiki Kai
- 75 Shiki Kai: Jumps forward and kick, dealing DMG equal to 80% of ATK to the enemy unit twice and gaining a second form of the skill.
- Aragami: Launch a 2-strikes combo, dealing damage equal to 60% of ATK.
- Kusanagi Blast – the Ultimate: Targets enemies in the front area, dealing damage three times at 400% of the attack and knocking them airborne, gaining 1 Rage. After accumulating 3 Rage, an enhanced skill can be used: Summons multiple columns of fire to attack all enemies in front. Each accurate hit inflicts damage equal to 900% of the attack and knocks them airborne.
