CONQuest 2023: Taking it to the skies!

Last year’s CONQuest Festival meet up the high expectation of fans as they have delivered a wonderful convention that showcased the favorites of the internet community. And yet CONQuest 2023 is taking it on a higher gear!

With big names such as Pokimane, Valkyrae, Sykkuno and Krock group, The Rose, AcadArena’s 2017 startup convention promises to elevate the convention scene in the Philippines by gathering different pop culture personalities into not one but two locations on June 2-4, 2023 in SMX Convention Center and Conrad Hotel in Pasay City, Philippines.

The 3-day event include activities such as the Alliance Games Finals, which is AcadArena’s campus esports scene in the Philippines, celebrity showmatch, cosplay competition, tech & game devs expo floor, food alley, retro arcade and free play, meet and greets, community panels and workshops, Questmarket, Streamzone and Tabletop and TCG. A new feature in this year’s CONQuest is the Music Night happening on June 3, headlining the event is The Rose, a 4-man South Korean indie-rock group, Ian of Hyper Potions, James Landino and  James Reid.

Music Night access is an add-on pass and to be sold separately.

Organized by a dedicated AcadArena’s team of  young individuals and volunteers who are passionate about creating a memorable experience for attendees, CONQuest Festival features a wide variety of activities and events. These include panels with special guests, cosplay contests, gaming tournaments, vendor booths, and more. There are also plenty of opportunities for attendees to connect with other fans, share their interests, and have fun.

One of the highlights of CONQuest Festival 2023 will be the special guests. The festival is bringing in some of the biggest names in the online community! With Kyedae, Michael Reeves, and Lilypichu returning to the event, Some of the “OfflineTV and Friends” group are coming as well, Fuslie, Sykkuno, Valkyrae, Ariasaki, Igumdrop, Yvonne and Pokimane. Filipino-American Youtuber, Akidearest and the 1/3 of the Trash Taste podcast, Joey the Animeman is included  as well. Famous Vtubers such as Bao, Demenishki and Shoto, The Genshin Impact “scamily” featuring Atsu, AntonyChenn, BTMC (Osu!), Dish, Tsikyo, and Tuonto. EN Voice actors returning, Ratana and  Anne Yatco, Itadori Yuji EN VA – Adam McArthur, Gorou VA – Cory Yee, Albedo EN VA – Khoi Dao, Barbara and Xinyan EN VA – Laura Stahl, Diluc EN VA – Sean Chiplock and fellow Filipino, Vanille Velasquez who voiced Neon in Valorant and Zeri in League of Legends. Cosplay heavy hitters such as Yosuke Sora, Rurusama, Kiyocosplay, Kitz Cua, Charess, Kang Dupet, Een Mercado, Josette Swan, Byoru and Ashe Dream is going as well. Esports organization such as Echo PH is on the list. Streamers such as Joshseki, Krisrey, Maggiekarp, Seeapeekay, Razzie Binx and many more.

In conclusion, CONQuest Festival 2023 is shaping up to be an incredible event for fans of all things geeky and fantastic. From the special guests to the cosplay contests to the gaming tournaments and vendor booths, there will be something for everyone.
