A manned spacecraft finally travels beyond the solar system in the new trailer of Christopher Nolan’s futuristic thriller “Interstellar” starring Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Michael Caine, opens nationwide starting Nov. 6, 2014.
“Interstellar” brings to the screen a script based on the combination of an original idea by Christopher Nolan and an existing script by his brother, Jonathan Nolan. With our time on Earth coming to an end, a team of explorers undertakes the most important mission in human history; traveling beyond this galaxy to discover whether mankind has a future among the stars.
The film chronicles the adventures of a group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage.
The cast also includes Bill Irwin, John Lithgow, Casey Affleck, David Gyasi, Wes Bentley, Mackenzie Foy, Timothée Chalamet, Topher Grace, David Oyelowo and Ellen Burstyn.
