T.J. Miller Will Not Return for SILICON VALLEY’s Season 5
T.J. Miller, who plays the tech entrepreneur Erlich Bachman on HBO’s Silicon Valley, won’t be returning for the show’s fifth season. The actor’s departure comes hours after news of the tech comedy’s renewal for another season.
“The producers of Silicon Valley and T.J. Miller have mutually agreed that T.J. will not return for season five,” HBO told Vulture. “In Erlich Bachman, T.J. has brought to life an unforgettable character, and while his presence on the show will be missed, we appreciate his contribution and look forward to future collaborations.”
Created by Mike Judge, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky, Silicon Valley follows a group of young men who found a startup company in California’s Silicon Valley. The show has been a critical hit ever since debuting in 2014, even winning two Emmy awards.
