Apol Sta. Maria’s ALAMAT NG PANGET & MANY OTHER Gets the Spine Treatment

When Apol Sta. Maria‘s Ang Alamat ng Panget and Many Other premiered years ago, it made good reviews and had some-what fine reception to some people outside the local independent comic scene. After many years, Sta. Maria just announced yesterday that he has just republished the the comic book. But, instead in a regular old-fashioned zine format, he mended it into a softcover/TPB treatment.

Flipgeeks had a quick chat with Sta Maria about this recent announcement with a hint of his new and upcoming book:

FLIPGEEKS: Tell me about this recent development of Ang Alamat ng Panget & Many Other?
APOL STA.

Wala. Reprint lang talaga sya. May material na kasi ako for the next book. Tapos balak ko sya ilabas next year.

Oooh. Anong title ng next comic mo?
Poopo & Many Other yung next.

Ano ang genre nya at tungkol saan?
Pilipino/dark humor siguro, haha. Or hindi pala dark… Pinoy/corny/dark/light. Yan.

Ang Alamat ng Panget & Many Other can now be purchased at Uno Morato and at his booth at Komikon this November for PhP 200.
