Ligaya Komiks builds LIGAYA CRUSH CON fundraising event

The creators and friends of Ligaya Komiks bring you their fundraising event, LIGAYA CRUSH CON. The event aims to help Ligaya Komiks to fund a full length graphic novel they are currently working which they plan to release soon.
Ligaya Crush Con is a way for their readers to be able to support the creators and in a way to enjoy themselves. The event showcases performances from numerous local bands and local artists.
“Kasi sa ligaya,” said Addie Onday. “We really make it a point to try and help local culture and art get around para manatili siyang buhay. Ganito yung naisip naming fundraiser kasi masugid kaming fans ng local music at alam naming maraming magbebenefit at mag-eenjoy kapag natutunan nilang buhay pa rin ang OPM. So parang yung fundraiser, suporta siya para sa amin, pero para rin sa kabuuang kultura at sining sa bansa.”
The line up of local bands consist of: Oh, Flamingo!, MilesExperience, Tom’s Story, Ourselves the Elves, BennyBunnyBand, At The Moment, and Mondays @ 4. With special guest performers Zuela Herrera and Franz Felix Evangelista Pantaleon.
