‘Deeper and Darker Waters’ for SHERLOCK Season 4!

Wait in vain no more! BBC One has finally confirmed the comeback of our favorite crime solving chaps. Sherlock Season 4 will start shooting later this year and will be seeing a January 2015 premiere with three episodes plus a series special to be released early 2016.

Sherlock Season 4's Cumberbatch & Martin

“A special, plus a new series of three episodes—it’s a record-breaking run! Of course, it’s far too early to say what’s coming, but we’re reasonably confident that the very next thing to happen to Sherlock and John, is the very last thing you’d expect…” co-creator Steven Moffat vaguely said during the announcement.

Apparently, the producers kept a close mouth about any giveaways but Mark Gatiss, an executive producer, writer and co-creator of the show, hinted in the interview that, “…We’ll then be shooting three more episodes which will take Sherlock and John Watson into deeper and darker water than ever before. The whole ‘Sherlock’ team are terrifically excited to return for four new adventures. The game is on — again!”

That will keep the fandom at the edge of their seats while biting their nails off. Until then, #221b will find its occupants again.
