Warner Bros. Japan’s live action “Samurai X” or “Rurouni Kenshin” movie is all systems go now that the studio has found the actress to play the role of Kaoru Kamiya in the form of Emi Takei.
And while the hairstyle might not be on par with what Kaoru looks like in both the anime series and the manga there really is something about Emi that looks very Kaoru-ish.
Production officially begins this week with Takei working together with the live action adaptation’s star and former Kamen Rider Den-O lead Takeru Satoh.
Still no images of them wearing their distinct looks which made Samurai X such a great anime/ Manga series.
