EVENT: Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention 2014

One of the biggest and coolest events in Asia is set to to splash big waves of awesomeness in Singapore. The Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention (STGCC) is officially back!  Last year the Flipgeeks team set out it’s first ever international coverage (see gallery here), and it was a blast. There were a lot of stuff to see, from super cool displays from various known companies of geek culture, up to booths that showcases local and international talents from the comics, toys and gaming world.

If you’re planning a trip to Singapore this year, then mark your calendar for this event. You will not regret it. This year it was just reported that their Artist Alley has been sold out and that tickets will be sold next month already, so believe the hype guys! Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention (STGCC) juices up the pop culture universe with offerings from the worlds of toys, games, comics, anime, manga and collectibles. Get ready to anticipate a weekend jam-packed with autograph sessions, stage performances and exciting exhibitors on the show floor.

HOW BIG IS SINGAPORE TOY, GAME & COMIC CONVENTION?

STGCC attracted close to 40,000 visitors over 2 days! There was a convergence of a multitude of pop culture’s best with 181 exhibitors from 10 countries and was attended by 225 international media from online to broadcast.

HOW DO I GET MY TICKET?

STGCC tickets will be available for sale in advance at authorised retail outlets. Check out our Tickets & Queues page for a full list of authorised retailers, be sure to purchase your tickets beforehand to avoid the snaking long queue at the show!

WHO NEEDS A TICKET?

All fans aged 5 & above need a ticket to enter STGCC on Saturday, 6 September 2014. On Sunday, 7 September 2014, attendees 12 and below enter for free when accompanied by an adult.

OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION

IS PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED?

Photography, video recording and audio recording are welcomed at STGCC. Please note though that all photography and recording is prohibited during screenings and concerts. Also, please understand that exhibitors and guests may or may not allow photography and if indicated as such, please respect their wishes.

WILL I BE ON CAMERA?

Regional and local media will be covering STGCC. By attending STGCC, you are deemed to have given your consent to be photographed, interviewed or appear on camera. This may be your big chance for your 5 minutes of fame.

HOW DO I GET AUTOGRAPHS FROM STGCC GUESTS?

STGCC guests will be signing autographs for fans at the Walk of Fame. STGCC guests will sign officially licensed comics, collectibles, toys and DVDs.
