Finally!! The Rock has come back to WRESTLEMANIA!!!!
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was announced as the host of Wrestlemania XXVII on RAW. This year’s biggest event in sports entertainment will be held in Atlanta on April 3. It’s been 7 years (2004) since the former WWE (formerly WWF) superstar stepped into the ring with Mick Foley to fight Evolution’s Randy Orton, Ric Flair and Batista.
Although The Rock has embraced both Villain and Fan favorite roles in the past, he is still one of the best superstars from the WWE. I admit that I don’t watch WWE as often as I did during the 90s and early 2000s (back when it was not rated PG i guess), and when I do, I find the new storylines, characters boring, and finding out John Cena is still there makes me change the channel.
But seeing The Rock return last night on RAW, bringing us definitely one of the most electrifying news in years – the most electrifying man in sports entertainment serving as host on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
