The fifth installment to the TERMINATOR franchise would be titled TERMINATOR: GENESIS. In a recent interview by MTV with the T-800 himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger gave a few details about the new movie and explained why the TERMINATOR looks old. According to the interview with MTV:

“The way that the character is written, it’s a machine underneath,” Schwarzenegger continued. “It’s this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator’s flesh ages, just like any other human being’s flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages. “Terminator deals a lot with time travel, so there will be a younger T-800,” Schwarzenegger added, blowing our minds, “and then what that model does later on when it gets reprogrammed, and who gets ahold of him. So it will be all kinds of interesting twists in the movie, but I feel so good.”

This information revealed by Arnold Schwarzenegger would definitely generate a lot of buzz and excitement among fans as this would also make his return as the star of the TERMINATOR franchise. It’s still a long wait before we get to see the showdown of Arnold’s T-800s as the movie is not going to be released until next year, July 1 2015
