‘The Lion King’ Director Brings Classic Cartoon “Mr. Peabody & Sherman” On-screen

The director behind the classic Disney blockbuster The Lion King, is bringing a beloved 1960’s cartoon classic to the big screen this year. Director Rob Minkoff is bringing Mr. Peabody & Sherman, who were from the cartoon “Rocky and Bullwinkle”. The director is really looking forward for the movie to hit theaters since he loved the idea of a duo or a classic movie team, he said that ‘Mr. Peabody & Sherman’ is “like Laurel and Hardy, Batman and Robin, Holmes and Watson.”

DreamWorks Animation SKG’s “Mr. Peabody & Sherman” opens March 6 nationwide in cinemas from 20th Century Fox and to be distributed by Warner Bros. Also, don’t forget to check out the Flipgeeks 2014 Movie guide here.
