Ellis & Shalvey mix Sci-Fi and Horror in INJECTION
The creative team that shot Moon Knight back into everybody’s radar is reuniting for an all-new series from Image Comics.
Warren Ellis (Trees, Moon Knight), Declan Shalvey (Moon Knight), and Jordan Bellaire (Pretty Deadly, Moon Knight) team up once again for Injection – an all-new series that will explore the realms of science-fiction and horror.
Injection will follow scientist Maria Kilbride in a poisoned dystopian future caused by a company’s experimental research.
“Injection is very heavily about the sort of things I’ve been discussing in my talks at conferences of late,” Ellis said in an interview with USA Today. “The connections between deep history and the future, between folklore and technology, the ways in which the present moment is haunted by the future as well as the past.”
Injection #1 will hit shelves on May 13 from Image Comics.
