TOM CLANCY Dies at Age 66
Tom Clancy a writer best known for his novels which became best selling movies as well as video games died at the age of 66. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Tom Clancy co-founded Red Storm Entertainment who became popular for video games that includes Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon series.
He was best known for writing hugely successful novels about CIA agent, Jack Ryan in The Hunt For Red October, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger and The Sum of All Fears, all had movie adaptations. His movies starred actors Ben Affleck, Alec Baldwin and Harrison Ford. Another movie is set to come out later this year, Jack Ryan: Shadow One which stars Chris Pine (Star trek).
Tom Clancy passed away in a Baltimore Hospital. The cause of death was not reported.
