SLEEPING DOGS Sequel Announced!
The developers of the open world action- adventure game Sleeping Dogs released news that they are working on a sequel. Game Developer, United Front Games issued this statement online regarding the update on the Sleeping Dogs sequel named Triad Wars:
“We’ve been a bit tight-lipped about our current projects over here at UFG, but we’re finally able to give you a little something. So, we’re making a new game! We can’t say a lot about it right now, but you might have read about a trademark registration for something called Triad Wars? Well, we’re super-excited that it’s another game based in the Sleeping Dogs universe, it’s something we’ve wanted to do for ages, and we’re very happy to be working with Square Enix again… but that’s all we can give you for the time being – we’ll have more information about what the game’s going to be in 2014.”
No information was provided whether the the Sleeping Dogs sequel would be related to the original game. In the original Sleeping Dogs, you play as undercover agent Wei Shen trying to infiltrate and bring down Hong Kong’s Triads. Sleeping Dogs is very similar to Grand Theft Auto’s style of gameplay. If you’re fond of playing these games then you’d surely like Sleepin Dogs. I personally enjoyed playing the original Sleeping Dogs and I’m looking forward to what the sequel is going to be like.
