Join The WHILCE PORTACIO COMIC BOOK TALENT SEARCH (Philippines)

Filipino-American comic book writer and artist Whilce Portacio (read our interview during his visit early this year here) who is known for his works on such titles as The Punisher, X-Factor, Spawn, Uncanny X-Men and Wetworks, and most probably because of his part in building Image Comics, is looking for top talents for the comic industry and his eyes are set on the Philippines.

Together with Comic Odyssey, IAcademy and the Philippine Women’s University, Portacio is in the process of creating his new art team:

  • Pencillers
  • Inkers
  • Colorists
  • Background Artists

Deadline of submissions is on March 21, 2014, and you can also e-mail your works directly to Whilce at whilcestudio@gmail.com. Click on the images for a larger view.

Here’s an update from Whilce — “Attention…the e-mail whilcestudio@gmail.com is only for submissions according to the guidelines and inquiries and questions…we will not accept portfolio’s…we need to see latest work according to guidelines…
