EVENT: Manix Abrera’s 14 SILENT COMICS Exhibit at UP Vargas Museum

14 Silent Comics Exhibit

UP Vargas Museum will hold an exhibit featuring Manix Abrera‘s 14 Silent Comics. The exhibit will run from August 5, 2015 to August 19, 2015.

14 Silent Comics is Manuel “Manix” Abrera’s one-person exhibition that presents his silent comics (comics without dialogue). Characters from Philippine mythology like the manananggal, white lady, duwende and kapre will be portrayed in a different light through stories that cast them as protagonists. They are either funny or philosophical, caught up in circumstances where they meet different creatures, mortal and otherwise.

Check out the Facebook event page for more information.
