Steve Rude, Jerry Ordway And Others Go On Adventures With Superman

DC Comics has announced the next batch of creators who will work on the digital first series “Adventures of Superman” including the legendary Steve “The Dude” Rude, Jerry Ordway, Steve Niles and more.

March 10 – 24: Strange Visitor will be a three part story written by Glory star Joe Keatinge and drawn by Ming Doyle, David Williams, Al Gordon, Tula Lotay, and Jason Shawn Alexander.

March 31: Ghosts of Krypton is a one shot by Steve Niles of 30 Days of Night fame with art by Matthew Dow Smith.

April 7: Mystery Box features fan favorite Captain Marvel writer Kelly Sue Deconnick and X-Factor artist Valentine de Landro.

April 14:  Seed of Destruction written by veteran Jerry Ordway with spectacular art from Steve Rude which also features an appearance from OMAC.

Not the New 52 OMAC or the Final Crisis one, but JACK KIRBY’S OMAC.

OMAC GOD! (This is a pun)

For the stupid uninitiated OMAC is an acronym that stands for One Man Army Corps. Originally created by Jack Kirby in the 80’s and was part of the initial launch of DC’s New 52, which featured the creative team of Dan Didio and Keith Giffen and ran for 8 issues.

Also he literally fought an army and won.

NEED I SAY MORE?
