Sasageyo! Today, we are reviewing Good Smile Company’s Eren Yeager (Human ver) Popup Parade statue.
Popup Parade is a toy line from Good Smile Company (same company that produces Figma and Nendoroid action figures) that is mainly focused on affordable and highly collectible statues.
Attack on Titan is among the best anime to have been released in the past decade with the first episode airing since 2013. The anime is based on the manga Shingeki no Kyojin written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. At the time of this review, part 2 of the final season of anime is currently airing on Netflix.
Eren Yeager is the main protagonist of the series and this Popup Parade is based on his iconic appearance from the anime’s final season. It can be seen on the anime’s opening and from the final episode of the first arc.
The statue is lightweight as it is made up of PVC
that is mostly used in anime collectibles such as Popup Parade. Eren stands at about 7 inches and includes a figure base.
This statue is average in size if compared to other anime figures. It looks similarly close to Good Smile Company’s Figma line, which are highly detailed action figures. For a statue, the sculpting is highly detailed. It even captures the folds in Eren’s jacket. The painting is also well done as what you’d expect in statue.
Overall, Good Smile Company’s Eren Yeager Popup Parade statue is a good springboard for starting a statue collection. It’s affordable, it’s lightweight, and based on an anime that you probably love. Eren Yeager is definitely a must have for any Attack on Titan fan. We suggest that when you can, try to avail this figure as you know how the demand for an anime rise especially when the series is ending.
