Kaspersky and Metro Comic Con 2011 in cooperation with Flipgeeks, brings you yet another exciting comics related contest!!!

KASPERSKY COMICS CONTEST GUIDELINES

The Rules
TERMS and CONDITIONS

Participants
1. All amateur comic book and storyboard artists

Storyboard

1. The storyboards should adhere to a strict PG-13 code (no nudity, explicit depiction of genitalia or the act of copulation, and no excessive gore and violence).
2. The use of photographs, filtered pics, and photo manipulated images as part of the storyboard is prohibited.
3. The use of 3D is prohibited.
4. The storyboards should be colored
5. The storyboards should be in English.
6. Digital drawing and lettering is allowed.
7. Plagiarism and swiping are grounds for automatic disqualification.
8. The comics is only 1 page and should not exceed 1 page.
9. Kaspersky characters SHOULD be included in the comics. (Below – KAV (left) & KIS (right))

Theme:

The selected theme for the comic is “No to Software Piracy”

Registration:

1. Registration will start from April 4, 2011 to April 9, 2011
2. To register send an email to submissions@sketchpadmanila.net with the following subject – KASPERSKY COMICS CONTEST – REGISTRATION
3. Complete name of the individual or team members, contact numbers should be included in the email registration.

Submission:

1. All submissions will be emailed at a JPG foramat and in 150dpi at submissions@flipgeeks.com under the title Kaspersky : No to Piracy
2. Flipgeeks will accept submissions from the participants starting April 10, 2011 to April 16, 2011
3. For Submissions: email to submissions@flipgeeks.net with the following subject – KASPERSKY COMICS CONTEST – SUBMISSION
4. Complete name of the individual or team members, contact numbers should be included in the email.

Posting:

1. All submissions will be posted and viewed exclusively at Flipgeeks.com and Kaspersky Philippines Facebook page.
2. Participants will be given the time form April 17 – May 6, 2011 to share the links from Flipgeeks.com and Kaspersky Philippines’ Facebook page.

Contest.

1. A distinguished panel of judges composed of professional graphic design artists and will pick winners for the following categories: 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place and People’s Choice award.
a. People’s choice award will be given to the storyboard with the most likes in Kaspersky Philippines’ Facebook page.
b. All awardees will be presented at May 8, 2011 at Metro Comic Con

Prizes:

1. 1st Place – P5,000 + 1 year license of Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 and their work will be published Junior Inquirer. Also, online in Computer World, PC World, the Kaspersky FB fan page.
2. 2nd Place – P3,000 + 1 year license of Kaspersky Internet Security 2011
3. 3rd Place – P2,000 + 1 year license of Kaspersky Internet Security 2011
4. People’s Choice Award – 1 year license of Kaspersky Internet Security 2011
