TRAILER: A Bloody Valentine Awaits As Naughty Dog Announces “The Last Of Us: Left Behind!”
More drama unfolds as Naughty Dog announces the release of The Last Of Us: Left Behind.
Purported as the first and last expansion they’ll release for The Last Of Us, Left Behind tells the story of what has transpired before the events of the main game, focusing on Ellie and her best friend Riley. While there were plans of a multiplayer-DLC in the works, the developers reveal they have no intention of making any expansions apart from this one.
Naughty Dog also reveals that Left Behind will be more “playful” than some of the main game’s segments, and that it will contain “extremely challenging” fights.

Just look at those kids smiling. Too bad they live in a cruel world.
Left Behind will be launched on February 14, 2014 – Valentine’s Day, and includes a $20 The Last Of Us DLC season pass which can be purchased separately. A beta version of the said expansion can also be seen via the upcoming PlayStation Now streaming service, which goes beta anytime soon.
