NIKE Unleashes The PG-2 Playstation Sneakers

Nike-Paul-George-Playstation-FlipgeeksTwo of the well known brand in their respective fields, Nike and Playstation collaborated to release the Paul George 2 Playstation Colorway sneakers. The inspiration for the PG-2 Playstation colorway sneaker was taken off the PS4’s dual shock controller.

“This collaboration has been a long time coming. Ask me what my favorite PlayStation memory is and I’ll tell you it’s when my dad got me a PS2 for Christmas. I’d been dropping hints left and right because I knew that was it. That was the next big thing. You could say the same with Nike. As a kid, I’d make sketches of what I wanted my Nike shoes to look like because it’s something I’ve always wanted to be a part of. Now I have the opportunity to make something very special and personal to me with the help of two of my favorite brands.” says Paul George about this signature shoe.

Here are some of the  awesome features that you could expect from this sneaker, as confirmed by both Sony and NBA Superstar and Oklahoma City Thunder’s Paul George.

- Both Paul George’s and Playstation logos would appear on the shoe tongues and would illuminate and pulsate blue like as if you were turning on your PS4 console.
– There is a unique PSN barcode that can be located at the back heel of the left shoe. You can use this code to avail of a Paul George Dynamic Theme for your PS4.
– The sneaker’s colorway was inspired by the buttons of the PS4 dualshock controller.
– The iconic PS logo are embossed in patent leather in both shoes.
– You can find the look of the Paul George Dynamic Theme in the sock liner in both shoes.

The PG2 Playstation colorway is scheduled for a February 10, 2018 release with a reported price of $110.00.
