The Avengers Who Have Worn the Infinity Gauntlet

Even with the Avengers: Infinity War has been released some weeks ago, people still wonder on many things about it. Especially, with the Mad Titan – Thanos and his Infinity Gauntlet. To give you more knowledge about it, we go to the comics and tell you that Thanos has been engaging in the Marvel universe for a long time so much that even some of the Avengers members that everybody knows have worn and used Thanos’ power glove with its Infinity stones.

Captain America Infinity Gauntlet

In Avengers: The Age of Ultron, there was a scene where there was nudge when Steve Rogers/Captain America was trying to helm Thor’s Mjolnir. And we know that he’s all that from being so heroic and brave. Especially from the latest Avengers installment where he fights toe-to-toe against Thanos. Captain America is the GOAT.

In Avengers #3 (2013)  by Jonathan Hickman and Steve Epting, he was chosen to wield the gauntlet. Yet, he accidentally destroyed overusing it from protecting realities hitting from each other.  He, unfortunately, got his memory wiped of any knowledge from any of this by the Illuminati.

Black Panther Infinity Gauntlet

After the events of Captain America getting his mind wiped from the Illuminati in Hickman’s & Epting’s Avengers,  we find Black Panther with Namor discovering the Infinity Gauntlet and used it to attack Doctor Doom in Secret Wars #9 by Jonathan Hickman & Esad Ribic. T’Challa transported Doom back in time. Where eventually, Reed Richards defeated Doom and reconstructed reality.

Iron Man Infinity Gauntlet 1

Avengers: Infinity War really brought on how rough and tough Tony Stark/Iron Man is when he was fighting against Thanos. He is so bad-ass that he was able to use the gauntlet against the Hood in Avengers #11 (2011) by Brian Michael Bendis and John Romita Jr. Iron Man put The Hood back in prison. Afterward, he met the Illuminati to discuss on where to hide the Infinity Gems.

Spider-Man Infinity Gauntlet
Now a new member of Avengers in the new blockbuster film Avengers: Infinity War in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, our neighborhood friendly Spider-Man has already been a member of the Earth’s Mightiest for some years. Back in 2010, Avengers and the Infinity Gauntlet by Brian Clevinger, Lee Black, and Brian Churilla is a short kid-friendly retold of Infinity Gauntlet. Fortunately, for the web-head, he got his hands on the Infinity Gauntlet between a Doom Bot and Thanos. With the sudden massive boost of cosmic powers, he has got cosmic responsibilities. Spidey used the mighty gauntlet on Thanos and wished that Thanos had never come into possession of it.

Spider-Man then finds himself back on Earth, with none of the other heroes aware of what happened, or that Spider-Man just saved the entire universe.
