It’s A Ball With These Funko Disney Princesses!
We know that Funko has released almost every character one could think of, especially from big brands such as Marvel, DC Comics, Disney, and more. Some characters have already been vaulted (meaning, out of production), or are just hard to find these days. It’s a pain for aficionados especially if the vaulted or hard-to-find characters they are looking for are the main or lead ones. It is also known that instead of re-releasing vaulted characters, Funko tends to recreate them instead with new sculpts. This is true for their Disney Princesses Funko Pop! line. Back in August 2016, Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Tiana Funko Pops were recreated with dancing poses. A year after, they add to this line as Mulan, Merida, Aurora, and Jasmine Funko Pops get recreated with action poses. Here are the photos:
Aurora will have a chase variant in a bluish dress, which has a rarity of 1-in-6. She also has a glitter dress variant, which is a Books-A-Million exclusive. Funko will also be releasing Disney Princesses Pocket Pop! Keychains — Mulan, Jasmine, Rapnzel, and Cinderella, in their action poses!
It is really refreshing to see our favorite characters get new poses, very different from the original Funko pose from some years back — with arms facing downward, and with a straight body. The sculpt of every figure gets more detailed as well, so I’m sure every Disney Princess would really be worth every peso. They will start being available between September and October!
